  1. PLtoTF converts property list (PL) files to TeX font metric (TFM) files.

  3. Given an input file called cmr10.pl, PLtoTF will create cmr10.tfm.

  5. PL files are human-readable text files.  PLtoTF is often used in
  6. conjunction with TFtoPL.  For example, you could use TFtoPL to convert
  7. a TFM file into a PL file, edit the PL file to change the amount of
  8. kerning between two characters, then use PLtoTF to convert the PL
  9. file back into TFM format.  A handy tool for font hackers.

  11. PLtoTF uses the verbose flag to determine how much feedback will appear
  12. in the OzMF window.  OzMF's Default config file sets the flag to false.
